PART 03-Exam Rules (Must-Read Before Test Day)

Preparing for the CSCA exam isn’t only about studying—you also need to understand the official test-day rules to avoid disqualification or unnecessary stress. The following guidelines apply to both on-site and (where applicable) supervised at-home online testing. Make sure you read these carefully and follow every instruction.

01. Admission Requirements & Documents

• Arrive at the designated examination room at least 40 minutes in advance, based on the reporting time shown on your admission ticket.
• You must bring the following:
— Original valid ID document
— Paper admission ticket
• The personal information on your ID and admission ticket must match exactly. Expired IDs, mismatched information, or incorrect ID types will result in denied entry.
• Entry includes facial recognition or manual verification—all candidates must pass this step.
• Late arrivals: After the official start time, candidates will not be permitted to enter. Late arrival = absent, and the exam will be marked as such.

02. Personal Belongings & Prohibited Items

• The following items are strictly prohibited:
  — Mobile phones, smart watches/bracelets, Bluetooth headsets
  — Recording or video equipment
  — Books, notes, calculators
  — Bags, food, or beverages
• The only items allowed at your desk are:
  — Valid ID
  — Admission ticket
  — Black signature pen
• Special case: With test center approval, unlabeled drinking water may be carried in and placed on the floor, not on the desk.

03. Examination Room Discipline

• Display your documents: Place your ID and admission ticket at the upper left corner of your desk for easy inspection.
• Item storage: All personal belongings (including powered-off mobile phones) must be stored in the designated area and may not be kept at your seat.
• Scratch paper: Provided by the test center. All sheets must be returned after the exam—none may be taken out.
• No communication:
  — Maintain silence throughout the exam
  — Complete all work independently
  — No talking, passing items, or any form of communication
  — If you have an issue, raise your hand for the invigilator
• Cheating is strictly prohibited:
  — No use of phones, smart devices, or communication tools
